On the 7th July, 2022 we were delighted to style the wedding of Rebecca and Glen who got married at the beautiful Crockwell Farm, an idyllic rural wedding venue in Northamptonshire whom we happen to be recommended suppliers for.
We provided them with a full wedding styling & floristry service, decorating the ceremony area, the wedding breakfast tables, creating personalised rustic signage, menus and place names and even all of their fresh floral arrangements too. We created Rebecca's bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids posies, floral hoops for the flower girl, all of the male buttonholes & ladies corsages as well as some huge show stopping flower towers for the ceremony area.
Rebecca and Glen really wanted their ceremony to be outside and luck was certainly on their side on the day of the wedding as they were blessed with glorious sunshine.
We recently asked them for some feedback on how their day went. Here's what they said...
Tell us a little bit about your wedding day.
Our wedding day was perfect, I wouldn't change it for the world. We got married at the stunning Crockwell Farm, in the Orchard Pavillion on a sunny July day. It was always our dream to get married outdoors, as a couple we love spending time outside. Our dog Benji was also a big part of our day.
Team Rustic really made our day so special, they really brought everything we wanted to life, even to the smallest detail. It was so important for our day to feel like us.
What was your favourite part of the whole day?
Other than getting to marry my husband, having our nearest and dearest all together to celebrate our love. We honestly just had the best day, from start to finish.
Why did you choose Team Rustic?
I fell in love with The Rustic Wedding Company's work and the idea of not having the added stress of having to set up the venue ourselves. The theme we wanted, we felt Rustic had so many options for us, a lot more than other companies.
Team Rustic went above and beyond for us, such as our amazing sweet table and children's table layout. We also loved the idea of visiting the show room and having a good look at all their options face to face, and the added detail of your styling plan as a book to keep forever.
Which styling element did you love the most?
I really loved the idea of a rustic modern country style wedding, when we picked Crockwell we felt the venue was so beautiful we didn't want to take away anything from it by adding lots of different decorations or colours. To keep the theme very minimalist we decided on lots of white and green flowers to keep in style with the venue but also still add a touch of us with the rustic feel.
Any top tips for engaged couples?
Just take it all in as the day itself goes so quickly, and try not to stress about things out of your control.
Huge congratulations Mr & Mrs Craddock once again and thank you so much for your wonderful feedback and for allowing us access to your gorgeous photos captured so beautifully by Ellen, we really do appreciate it.
We really enjoyed styling your wedding and working with you both. Thank you for choosing us.
