The Wedding of Charlotte & Desh at Rushton Hall

Back in October we were thrilled to be styling the stunning venue that is Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire for the loveliest couple, Charlotte & Desh.

Rushton Hall is set amongst gorgeous gardens and surrounded by open countryside, making for the most stunning wedding photos.

We are so thrilled to be able to share their beautiful photpgraphs with you, there are lots of them and it sure was a tough job to narrow down the ones to use and showcase.

We asked Charlotte & Desh to share their thoughts and feedback...

Tell us a little bit about your wedding day…?

Our wedding day was truly magical, more amazing than we could have ever imagined.

We got married at the stunning Rushton Hall Hotel in Kettering on the 21st October 2023. A long awaited day after being together since school!

The venue itself created the most luxurious setting for our day, complimented perfectly with the touches from Team Rustic.

What was your favourite part of the whole day?

All of it! Obviously the main event, marrying my amazing husband. But, genuinely we had THE most amazing day from start to finish. I never wanted it to end.

Having all of your loved ones under one roof and celebrating you was the most surreal thing ever.

Which styling element did you love the most?

I have always loved the traditional/romantic kind of look so I knew I wanted LOTS of candles! I didn't want too much to take away from the beauty of the room itself or to look too much.

I remember walking into the room and so many emotions run through you but it was just WOW.

We had a beautiful runway down the aisle of lit candles of all different sizes.

Again, on the guest tables, lots of candles and the most stunning gold cutlery & chargers.

We went for a green and gold theme which complemented the time of year beautifully and again it just looked unreal.

Any top tips for engaged couples?

Take every single second of the day in. Honestly, it flies by quicker than you can imagine. Everybody says it but until you're in the day yourself you don't realise!

Don't stress on the small stuff too much. Half the stuff I whittled about months/weeks before I didnt even think about or notice on the day!

Genuinely the most important thing is that you are both happy and you have all of your loved ones there! The small stuff, no one notices.

We also made a promise to stick together on the day so that we didn't get split up when talking to guests and it was possibly one of the best things we did as we felt like we had thoroughly enjoyed the day together as it should be.

Why did you choose Team Rustic?

Other than just being one of the nicest people ever, from our initial meeting with Lesley at The Rustic Wedding Company we were confident that she just knew what we wanted.

I knew we wouldn't even have to have doubts the venue would look perfect.
