Just a super quick blog post today to let you all know something we have been keeping to ourselves for the past three months.
WE'VE BEEN FEATURED ON ROCK MY WEDDING!
This is huge news for us here at The Rustic Wedding company, not only because it is the first time we have ever had any of our work featured on there but because it is regarded as one of the best blogs in the wedding world by most of the people who actually work in the wedding industry! ( - and essentially it’s super duper hard to get any work published on Rock My Wedding so it’s quite an achievement!)
The shoot itself was aptly named “Boho Botanical” after we used a variety of textured foliage throughout the styling and included a collection of the most dreamy handmade details to add to that eco/bohemian feel. (plus all of the items in the styling were all made in the East Midlands – thus meaning less air miles and pollution!)
For the styling, we used feathers and hanging dream catchers, hand dyed silk ribbons, large echeveria succulents, giant poppy seed heads and sweet smelling David Austin Roses.
There were copper textures, blue cut glass textures, a gorgeous intricate macramé table runner and tall miss-matched coloured dinner candles all enveloped in a lush foliage garland.
We also created a cake table of dreams – with the most incredible macramé backdrop, copper cake stand, wooden chopping boards for handmade copper painted macarons and decorated cupcakes.
