August last year saw the team returning to Crockwell Farm for the wedding of Lucy & Ben. Crockwell Farm is an idyllic family run venue in Northamptonshire with the most gorgeous uninterrupted views over the countryside. We are recommended suppliers too so we know the venue very well indeed!

We recently asked Lucy & Ben for some feedback on how their day went. Here's what they said...

Tell us a little bit about your wedding day…?

We got married in August 2023 at Crockwell Farm and it was everything we could have wished for and more!

We were lucky enough to have a sunny day despite all the rain that week which meant us, and our guests were able to spend most of the day outside. From our first viewing at Crockwell Farm we loved the family run, spacious venue.

What was your favourite part of the whole day?

Although we loved the entire day, being able to get married at a beautiful venue with our family and friends was so special for us and we will never forget it.

We genuinely did not stop smiling and laughing from start to finish.

A personal favourite of ours was the ceremony room, the decor and layout of this room is beautiful anyway but being able to add personal touches made it unique.

Which styling element did you love the most?

We loved the rustic style of Crockwell Farm without any additional decorations, so we wanted to keep this style.

The Rustic Wedding Company understood our ideas and brought our vision to life. My favourites were the floral moongate, which we had in the ceremony room then moved to behind the top table for the wedding breakfast, and the cake table which tied all our decor together.

Any top tips for engaged couples?

The day will go so quickly, enjoy every second. The suppliers are incredible at what they do so try not to stress over things happening behind the scenes.
